Nicole Jackson Wilson is a PhD student and graduate assistant teacher at Texas A&M University. Her womanist ethics inform her interdisciplinary research interests: African diasporic women’s rhetoric, Black girlhoods, social justice pedagogies, and working-class studies. Nicole’s current research project not only examines working-class Black women activists’ rhetorical strategies and modes of composition, but it is also invested in understanding how Black women activists map and reclaim their respective girlhoods.
